My for fun trip to KL

It was 8.29am and i am still on my way to the Sungai Nibong bus station when Sean called to make sure i didn't miss the bus. I was kinda surprise to get a call from him at that time. He never wakes up so early. Wonder what he was up to. Anyway, i was lucky enough.. the bus was still there. Ran towards the bus and finally, got my seat. Oh, and I bumped into a very familiar girl whom I have no idea who she is. Don’t remember her name or where I met her. We just smiled and went back to our seats. (*scratch scratch*)I’m never good with names.

The bus left in 5 to 10 minutes after i've taken my seat in the bus. While crossing the Penang Bridge, I was staring at the beautiful view of the Penang Bridge over looking the industrial area with very calm water. If only the water’s cleaner, it’ll be a perfect view. As the bus was moving, the view of the Industrial area slowly subsides, bringing the mangrove closer to view. While enjoying the view, i couldnt help but noticed the crack window on the bus, slightly 45 degree angled from where i was seating. That's what the crack looks like.

Coming off that topic… Just when I arrived at Pudu Raya bus station while waiting for Li Min to come pick me up, I noticed a weird Malay lady leaving her bag unattended with about 6 meters away from her and repeated the same thing over and over. Then latter, she decided to cross the very busy Pudu Road when above her is the overhead bridge. I really don’t understand what she was up to. First, she didn’t give a damn about her belongings and then, she didn’t give a damn about her safety.

Later in the day while very happily enjoying a junior scoop of my favourite Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream at Baskin Robins in Mid Valley, me and my friends couldn’t help but noticed some sister and brotherly love sharing their one scoop of ice cream. They were each licking the ice cream of each side, smiling away. They were so adorable that I have to capture a picture of that and share it with my family and friends. That gave me an idea of asking my bro to take a picture of us sharing ice cream, which by the way, he wouldn’t agree to.

In the evening, we had a pretty funny conversation about weird habits. Keith has got the weirdest thing. He doesn’t eat rice or porridge that has gravy on it. For example, he will not eat white rice with sambal or curry topped on it. The curry and sambal has to be in separate bowls. No brown sauce or gravy on the rice too. He might eat white rice with clear soup but not anything with colour on the rice. The rice he eats is so sacred that he has to have it look clean. WOW!! That’s kinda weird.. or should I say unique.

There was not as much drama on the next day. Min and I started the day off by going back to my old uni to have a look at my friend’s rocking chair project. It was pretty cool to look at the different ideas they have and how the requirement of flat-packing influence their design. Fascinating, I would say. Later on, I met up with bro at Just Thai in One Utama for lunch which I casually slot in the topic of taking picture of us both licking and sharing a single scoop of ice cream cone. Of course, the answer was what I expected it to be. “Crazy!” No harm asking, right.

When bro left for work, Min and I obviously did some shopping and then met up with Danny. I am a person who would rarely leave a shopping mall empty handed. Well, I have improved over the years. I haven’t been buying clothes lately. I achieved the target the whole time I was in KL. But I bought some accessories, they were too beautiful, I can’t just leave them in the shop untouchable. It’s too sinful for me!! Ooopss.. There I go again… so much of saving up…

Then later, went to the guys home in USJ 6 somewhere very near Taipan, waited for some of them to come home and went for dinner at Pizza Uno. It’s a must have these days… for me when I am around that area. The food’s great! There should be a branch here in Penang. I’ll be visiting there like every weekend… er, maybe once every two weeks. Oh yeah… As usual, every time I see Sean, he has to give me at least one big bite. I have no idea why he does that. I checked my forehead and it doesn’t say “Bite me, Sean!” Hah... But it is good… We used to have some bite fight in Cyber during those days. We called each other ‘Biter B***h’.

The guy in the picture is Brandon at Pizza Uno, enjoying himself even thought he has a broken ankle. It'll take about 6 weeks to heal so he has to be on clutches. Just as he arrived at Pizza Uno, the waitress was so kind to offer him a chair first even though we have to wait for our seats. Without even thinking for one second, he declined that offer. Haha. There's some ego going on. Well well.. whatever makes him happy.

Do you know that the garbage we throw out in Malaysia would pile up as high as the KLCC tower in 9 days!! It’s unbelievable!! That was what I was told while having some dessert in Cheras after lunch by a young man asking us for some charity. It was a relaxing day, eating and resting at Min’s home watching movies. We watched Scary Movie 4 and Pink Panther. Scary Movie 4 was kinda lame but Pink Panther is funny. I like the part where he was learning how to pronounce hamburger.

Later in the night, all of us… me, Min, Yoke Kei, Sean, Hee Jung, Brandon, Danny and Raymond went to Planet Hollywood to watch the World Cup match of England versus Portugal. We were there for the first half. The second half, we went to Qba instead and met up with Edmund. That was where I wanted to be because I heard people Salsa in Qba. Well yes!! Many of them were so Salsa-ing. They were good. There should be a club like this in Penang but it wouldn’t last long here. Haih.

That'll be us savouring our wan than mee supper some where near Jalan Alor. And it will be the last time i will see this guys anytime soon. I'm gonna miss those crazy fellows.
