Snow in Hatfield
It's snowing it'snowing!!! Gosh, it's beautiful.. Finally it snowed. I was woken up from my sleep at 7.30 in the morning to see the snow.. ahah... so white and snowy... Now it reminds me of Jo's adorable cat named Snowy..

One thing about the beautiful white snow is that it no longer is beautiful when it starts melting and when dirt gets on it..

Fun tutorial on the go
It was one creative and fun tutorial. It was really an experience having tutorial on the go. As usual, we had individual tutorial where we meet our tutor at a specific time. So i was there, knocked the door of his office and he stood up and said, "Would you like to join me for a walk!" I gave him the blur 'what?! look.. i really thought he was joking with me.. But ooohhh... crap... he wasn't..
So he was reading my dessertation draft on paper, while walking.. and talking to me.. i asked him where we were going and he's got to go to the student union to take a passport pic of himself cause he was running late to get his Visa done since he had to go to Moscow on the weekend for some business. We went to the machine, he didn't had small change so we went to the union shop, he bought something to get small change. Went back to the photo machine, he put in the coins and it didnt work, we had to kick the machine.. :D ahhaa.. funny... then he put in another 50pence and it finally worked. After the picture session, we went to the nearby bar, sat down under the dim lights while we have another one third of our tutorial session in there.. without drinks of course.. Then i had to follow him to the staff room and later to the post room.. So i was actually with him for tutorial while he runs his errands.. Oh, and it was darn it windy while we were out. So the wind was kinda blowing the papers and it was flipping like crazy while he read them..
He is such a busy man, he didnt even have the time to go out for lunch. He hasn't been out of the office since morning and this on the go tutorial session with me is the only time he was out from that box. I was lucky we had that session cause then i had a longer tutorial session with him, where some only have less than half an hour.. Cool, eh..
Later after this pretty cool tutorial session, i come home to a house with a pervert friend of my housemate's. I was in the kitchen alone and he came in. He sat on the chair while i was heating up my food. He gave me this pervertic look and went like 'hey' then ask me to sit on his lap.. I was like "CRAZY!! NO!!" I ignored him and later, he came and hug me so tightly from the back, i had to shout at him and push him away!! Kinda told him off.. if he ever touches me again, he's gonna GET IT!!! What the hell was he thinking, doing that in my house!! He probably was hi on something..

British Museum
I took some awesome pictures in London on Saturday. The very red fruit on the very bare tree. Also, look at the contrast between the two buildings; old and new.
Look at the architecture of the skylight. I was wondering how they did that. The pic in the middle, it's me and Venus. And on the right, it is WOW WOWwee... Believe or not, it's all books... it's like the library in the castle of Beauty & Beast.
The very beautiful colourful glazed porcelain dish 'Dawn'(1992), is a piece by Tokuda Yasokichi III. The pic on the right, i don't remember what that is but it is a great piece.. Everthing in the museum is really amazing.
That, i'm sure you know what that is.. the mummy and samurai costumes.
That is the explanation of mummification. It's kinda gross. What happens is, soon after a person dies, it is taken to the tent of purification where the body was washed in a solution of natron with water. Then removal of organ takes place where the brain is extracted out through the nose with a metal rod. After that, an incision is made in the left flank with a stone knife where the organs of chest and abdomen except the heart isremoved. Next is the drying process where the cavities are packed with natron which absorbs fluid. The body is then covered with natron and left for 40 days. When the 40 days are up, the cavities are packed with linen, woodshavings or earth to restore substance to the features. The skin is the coatedr with some sort of liquid plant resin so the the moisture is excluded from the body. The final step is definitely the wrapping while prayers and magical spells were recited.

Exploration to the men's toilet... eeww
Don't ask me why i explored the men's toilet.. I wasn't thinking that time.. or did i think too much before, that i just lost my senses.. My friend was telling me, "You should come to the guy's toilet.. I want to show you something.." (*eyebrows raised*) i was thinking to myself.. what is there to see in there.. And another friend of mine said.. "If i were you, i wouldn't go in there.. You'll see.." I went in there anyway, after a group discussion in the library. I have no idea how these guys pee in there.. Eeww.. see for yourself, in the pics below. My friends asked me, "Isn't it the same in the girls toilet?"
Obviously not!! I wouldn't even pee in there if i were the guys..

Had the time of my life
.... now i'..ve....had, the time of my life....
That's one of my favourite song played in my all time favoutite movie, DIRTY DANCING!! It was such a coincidence, i watched this movie at noon and they played this song at night, the last song at the party.... How amazing is that...
SInce i've had the time of my life partying last night at the 80s to 90s night at The Font where they played songs we were listening to while we were in high school.. Memories.... So i decided to make something colourful for my lunch.. or.. err brunch. TADA!! I'm surprise, it is pretty filling, those 7 slices of baguette.

A field of frost
On the way walking back to my house from the library at 6.30am (Fri) before going to sleep for 2 hours and drag myself out of bed for class that morning, me and my mates were walking pass this usually green football field that was practically frosted!! The field was all white that morning. When i checked, it went to as low as minus 3 degrees that morning.. No wonder it was so freezing cold..!!
That night after a full day class till 5pm, I actually had the energy to go to St. Albans to look for a dance studio... Have been meaning to do that for weeks now, finally got myself to do it. But, it was too cold out on the streets that night, we decided to go to an Irish pub called O'neill's instead. :) Opps... It was a great night of chatting and listening to the life band playing latin music.. How awesome is that.. As for this morning, I went to St. Albans again.. I am beginning to like this place. Went shopping for clothes, got myself some new clothes.. Oh, i saw some very cool coat and pants and stuff, it was too expensive!! It was double or triple my budget.. crap.. Wanted to shop for other stuff too but didn't have enough time to do all that.. There is a french market selling cheese and pastries.. The pastries, Yum yum yummie.. After that, we went to the St. Albans Cathedral and we were so lucky to be able to witness a wedding ceremony

Oh Oh, i miss writing about the part where we had thai food for lunch. I've finally found a Thai restaurant which serves good food. FOr those who know, i had this tom yum fetish for the past few days and finally, i had them today!! Hehe.. I ordered Tum Kha (it's tum yam wth coconut milk).. I can still remember the taste till now.. Besides the unforgettable Thai food i had, i had a great opportunity to witness a wedding ceremony held in the church!

Later in the night, which i just came back from, me and my group of friends were freeezing our ass off, standing in a field full of people, waiting to watch the fireworks, celebrating the Bonfire Night remembering the day Guy Fawkes was arrested and tortured to death. It was worth it to stay in the cold for 2 hours, waiting as it was an awesome display of fireworks that lasted for 30 minutes.. I think it is awfully romantic to watch the firework with your partners, even though it was freezing cold..

Great weekend.. :D
